- Opportunity to work for a local authority tree section based in north London. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Arborist to help manage their existing tree gangs. This role will suit an experienced climber as it will involve the full range of arb operations to the council tree stock, including; tree and root pruning, crown reduction, lifting and thinning, felling, root removal and stump grinding. There is also the possibility of applying for a Supervisor's post once established in the role.Candidates will initially be engaged on a temporary basis with an immediate start and the opportunity to transfer to direct employment with the council after the probationary period.Key Skills - Must have certificates for aerial use of the chainsaw and a driving license.Rate of pay for the Senior Arborist is £17.14/hour and for the Supervisory post £20PH PAYE for 35 hour week.
