- Description
- Our client looks after the forestry for the MOD sites in the South of England. They require a competent Forester to help manage this process.The Forester will maintain the quality and level of service delivery, ensuring that the forestry portfolio is appropriately enhanced and that our client fulfil all its contractual obligations across the MoD Estate.This will involve providing technical support on Forestry maintenance, safety and management to all stakeholders in connection with the maintenance of the Estate, and ensure the safe delivery of tree works.Produce and maintain all forestry management plans, ensure reports are completed in a timely mannerPrepare specifications and reports on new or existing works as requiredSupport the Arboricultural team by completing and submitting trees surveys and inspections as and when required.Suitable candidates must have a full Driving Licence and be willing to undertake travel and stay away from home. You should have a recognised Forestry and Arboricultrual surveying qualification with ideally 5 years experience in the industry. In return a salary of £30 to £35kpa is offered.
