Description
Our client is a South London Borough council.  They undertake all the tree maintenance work 'in house' with directly employed staff. They operate several teams of arborists and are currently looking to recruit an extra team:
They are looking for a Grounds Operative, a second Climber and a Lead Climber . Candidates must possess certificates for use of the chainsaw, including aerial use if applying for a climbing role.  A driving licence and the ability to tow is desirable. Other desirable qualifications are Chipper and first aid. 
In return the PAYE rates of £11.54/hour (Groundsman), £12.40/hour (Arborist) and £14.30/hour for the Team Leader are offered.  Over time is paid at enhanced rates.  These posts may transfer from a temporary to permanent role for the right candidates.
