Groundworker needed for a new team at a North London Council. They undertake their tree maintenance work 'in house' with directly employed staff and are looking to set up a new team of arborists. The role is temporary but will go permanent after a probationary period.
They are currently looking to recruit a Grounds Operative who will assist in undertaking tree work operations to council owned trees. Candidates ideally should have certificates for the ground use of the chainsaw. Other desirable qualifications are a Chipper ticket and a driving license .
A pay rate of £12.80 hour is offered for a 35-hour week; over time at enhanced rates. Annual Leave starts at 28 days and other council benefits.
