Established in 2001, CTC Recruitment was at the time a new concept in recruitment for the arboricultural industry and consequently was an instant success. Based in Berkshire, the company has a large presence and is very active in visiting colleges, training companies and attending industry events.  

After 24 years of trading the company now has more than 5000 arborists and 600 employers registered and using its specialist recruitment software we can accurately match clients and candidates.

As a small niche industry Arboriculture is not suited to traditional recruitment practices. Advertising alone often fails to find a suitable candidate due to the small number of arborists who may be actively looking and the large number of job advertisements placed by employers – especially on the industry job boards. Similarly we find some employers do not advertise their vacancies but come directly to us because they cannot employ directly (Local Authority temporary roles for example) or because they have no confidence in advertising.

Therefore CTC Recruitment can present both employers and employees with a choice, so that they can select the best.
