- Our client is a Wiltshire Council who are looking to permanently engage a qualified Tree Officer.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Councils current tree stock on their Highways, Parks and green spaces site. Daily duties will include; cyclical and continual safety inspections and making remedial works recommendations for ; ensuring databases are kept up to date; remedial works are undertaken and processing public enquiries.Preferred candidates should be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Arboriculture, ideally have working experience within the industry in a similar role and some industry experience as an Arborist with ground use of chainsaw certificates. You will also need a clean driving licence and your own transport for which mileage will be paid.A salary of up to circa £36,000 PAYE, for a 37 hour week is offered.
