Our client is the tree section of a local authority in the south west near Bristol. As a unitary authority they are responsible for all governmental functions in a mixed urban and rural area which includes the world heritage city of Bath and attractive rural areas stretching towards the Mendips.
The council are currently looking to recruit 2 skilled climbing arborists. Certificates for aerial use of the chainsaw desirable but candidates with ground use certificates will be considered. A driving licence is also needed.The role will involve the full range of works to trees on highways, park, schools, housing and other council owned land.The position is offered at an hourly rate of pay of circa £10.42PH PAYE on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidates.
