- Description
- Our client is a Borough council based on the Berkshire/Surrey border. Located within the Thames basin it covers an attractive area which includes several affluent market towns. As such they have a significant and highly valued tree stock both on private property and council owned land.They require an Arborist who can assist with a zoning survey. This requires that any trees with significant targets should they fail , be recorded, for subsequent re inspection by the Council. Candidates therefore do not need to be experienced at Surveying but should have a Level 3 in Arb as a minimum and ideally some industry experience. This would suit a candidate who is keen to get some surveying experience to build their CV in a technical direction.The role can be spread over a 3 to 5 day week, which will be for circa 3 -6 months . Rate of pay is dependant upon PAYE or sub contract but will be from £12.50 - £15.00 per hour . In addition a mileage rate is paid for travel within the borough.
