- Our client is a Local Authority in Wiltshire. They are looking for a part time Tree Officer to assist their Planning Dept. The role is expected to run for circa three months whilst the post is advertised externally.The successful candidate can apply for the permanent post.Duties and responsibilities will involve:·Carry out tree surveys and amenity assessments.·To vary, review and revoke both existing and new TPOs when required.·Inspect and resolve applications and notifications for tree works.·Negotiate with and advise developers and the general public.·Digitally map and update tree recordsCandidates should be qualified to a minimum of a Level 3 in Arb and ideally have working experience in a planning role. In return a pay rate of between £15 and £18.50/hour is offered, for a 22 hour week spread over 3 days.
