Our client is a long standing Arb Approved company based in South Surrey, near Gatwick Airport. They are a small company, carrying out both domestic and commercial work including work on veteran trees and in public open spaces.
They currently require either a groundsman or second climber. Candidates for both jobs must have a driving licence and be qualified in aerial rescue. The second climber must also have aerial use of a chainsaw and several years’ experience in the industry. Regular training is offered and a long term career is envisaged for the right candidates.
The salary offered for the groundsman post is between £17,000 - £22,000 and for the second climber, between £24,000 - £28,000, both dependent on experience. Hours are 6.30am to 4pm with paid overtime available.
