- Our client is an outer North London borough. They have a busy tree section who are currently looking to employ two temporary Tree Officers for an initial 6 month period and then a rolling extension; the candidates will also have the opportunity to apply for a full time position.You will report directly to the Principal Tree Officer and the job will involve dealing with ad-hoc tree enquiries logged by the call centre from members of the public. The Tree Officer will inspect the trees in question and where necessary specify remedial works through the term contractor. In addition the tree management software will need to be updated (Ezytree - v) and correspondence sent to the public.Candidates must have a level 3 qualification in arboriculture, ideally with a relevant working experience and have access to a vehicle for business use (for which mileage will be paid). Good communication and IT skills will also be essential since the role will involve considerable contact with members of the public and other stake holders. Pay circa£17.00 PH for a 36 hour week plus 28 days annual leave .
