- A Tree officer is required to assist the existing team in this busy South London Borough.Main responsibilities will be to promote the preservation of the trees within the Borough.This will involve: Inspecting trees on actual and potential development sites and making recommendations to planning officers on the retention and management of trees.Making and reviewing Tree Preservation Orders, processing applications for works to protected trees and responding to notifications for works to trees in conservation areas.Candidates should be educated to Level 3 in Arboriculture and ideally have experience working in a similar role. A PAYE rate of upto £20/hour is offered, dependant upon experience.
