- Description
- An assistant Tree Officer is needed to assist a Local Authority in West Berkshire with office in Newbury. This role will have the flexibility to work two days remotely with the rest of the time on site. Primarily required to assist current Arb team in managing the boroughs TPOs and Conservation area planning process.Candidates must have a minimum Level 3 in Arboriculture, good tree knowledge and ideally have working experience in Local Authority planning processes. A driving licence is also required.In return a rate of £11.27/hour PAYE is offered rising to £11.61 after 12 weeks. The contract is expected to run for at least 10 months and may transfer to permanent for the right candidate.
