- Our client is the Royal Parks who manage and maintain London's eight royal parks. A dynamic tree section are responsible for a large and significant tree stock within the parks. The tree section has been awarded additional funding to identify and manage Massaria within the plane trees. As a consequence they are looking to appoint an Arboricultural Officer to undertake this work.The role will be based in Hyde Park and report directly to the Arboricultural Manager. Specifically the role will involve a programme of inspections and surveys of trees across all sites managed by The Royal Parks to identify and assess associated hazards and risks, principally relating to Massaria of London Plane. Work will include identifying and specifying works and liasing with contractors to ensure works are carried out to specifications ; creating work schedules and tree works orders ; maintaining adequate records in accordance with adopted procedures and policies.Candidates will be required to have a minimum level 4 qualification in Arboriculture and experience of tree survey and inspection. This is a permanent, full time position with salary of between £27801 and £33727 pa , dependant upon experience; part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
