Our client is a Foundation In Hertfordshire responsible for circa 50,000 trees comprising of street trees, parks, open spaces, woodlands and surrounding farmlands. They are now looking for a Tree Officer to assist the Estate Manager with the day to day management of this tree stock. The role will be part time, over 21 to 28 hours per week.
The successful candidate would be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for inspecting and recording tree data and providing technical advise on tree related matters to the different stake holders . This would involve undertaking regular tree inspections and recording and identifying necessary tree works as well as monitoring the progress of these works with outside contractors. Ideally with experience in a similar role, you should be educated to a Level 3 or above in Arb and hold Lantra PTI.
In return a salary of circa £35.000 is offered, pro rata, alongside enhanced holiday provision (35 days inc banks Pro rata) and the opportunity for flexible working.
