A Tree Officer is needed to assist a Local Authority in Gloucestershire. Primarily required to assist current Arb team in inspecting the Council's tree stock in parks, schools, highway verges etc and to specify any safety works required for the Tree team to action.
Candidates must have a Level 3 in Arboriculture and have experience in surveying. Part time working will also be considered. Use of hand held GIS data recording software will be advantageous. A driving licence is also required.
In return a rate of between £15.00/hour PAYE and £18.19/hour is offered for a 37 hour week, subject to experience. The contract is expected to run for at least 6 months and may transfer to permanent for the right candidate. Part time working of a minimum of 3 days per week will also be considered.
