- Our client is a South London Borough who are looking to engage an extra Tree Officer.You will be operating within a diverse range of environments from the public highway to woodlands and conservation sites.Daily duties will include; cyclical and continual safety inspections and making remedial works recommendations for publicly owned trees in Highways, Parks and Greenspace sites; ensuring databases are kept up to date; remedial works are undertaken and processing public enquiries.Preferred candidates should ideally with some tree surveying experience however entry level candidates will be considered provided you have working experience within the industry as an Arborist and are qualified to Level 3 or above. You will also need your own transport to get around the borough for which mileage will be paid.A pay rate of circa £17.41/ph PAYE , for a 36 hour week is offered. This post will transfer to permanent for the right candidate, after a probationary period.
