Description

Our client is a prestigious private estate and registered charity, covering 1500 acres of land in a unique part of SE London. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Arboricultural Officer to oversea and manage the maintenance of trees across the Estates amenity spaces and private gardens. 

The successful candidate will provide a professional consultant/advice service to the management committee and its stakeholders. This will involve all elements of managing the estates tree stock; from advising on tree protection and preservation orders; recording and identifying necessary tree works ; obtaining estimates and analysing and preparing tender reports; monitoring the progress of any tree works with outside contractors and keeping up to date records to carrying out regular tree inspections.

This position would suit an experienced Arb Consultant or Senior Tree Officer at the top of their game.  Candidates must be educated to a Level 3 or above in Arb and ideally hold Lantra PTI or QTRA. Access to your own vehicle for travel in and around the estate is also essential. 

In return a salary range of £50k - £55kpa is offered, alongside a quality benefits package including private health insurance, enhanced pension contributions and annual leave starting at 24 days plus banks and rising to 29 days plus backs after a qualifying period.,
