An additional Tree Officer is needed to assist the Arb department in this Surrey Council with managing their tree stock.
The role will involve dealing with all tree related enquiries including carrying out tree inspections and the issuing and monitoring of tree works orders, The candidate needs to be able to competently assess the condition of trees and identify any risks. Suitable candidate needs to have a professional tree inspection qualification and/or level 4 in Arboriculture and ideally have had at least two years of experience in a Arboricultural surveyor role or similar. You should be a good communicator , be able to use your own initiative, and be comfortable working alone.
A PAYE rate of between £15 and £20/hour is offered for a 36 hour week. This is a temporary role which may transfer to permanent after a probationary period for the right candidate.
