An East London Housing Association is looking for an Arboricultural Officer to lead and manage on all matters relating to trees in their Estates areas . Based in Tower Hamlets, duties will involve undertaking surveys of the Associations Estate trees, accurately recording data on the in house computer system, liasing with contractors and monitoring tree works. The Estate has circa 2500-3000 trees which are all within 20 minutes walking distance from the offices.
Candidates should be educated to a Level 3 in Arb, ideally with industry surveying experience and a driving licence. Experienced Arborists looking for their first technical post are also invited to apply..
In return a PAYE rate of £21.30 /hour is offered , subject to experience, for a 35 hour week, with an enhanced holiday entitlement of 25 days plus banks after a probationary period.
