This is not an exhaustive list of the tasks involved, but aims to give an indication of the range of the work, and training will be provided for all activities.
Requirements:
- full UK driving licence
- minimum level 2 in arboriculture
- desirable (but not essential): experience of tree inspections/surveys
- Familiarity with rural, equestrian, and educational sites
- Minimum Standard DBS check, Enhanced DBS check preferred
- A willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
The work is expected to take between 3 and 6 months, but there is scope for this temporary role to become permanent for the right person once this work is completed.
In addition, the role may broaden into other field-based surveying and site monitoring functions, including BS5837 compliance monitoring and additional arboricultural and landscape-related survey support.
In return, the pay rate of up to £18.50/hr (c. £35k pa) is offered for a 35-hour week, plus standard 28 days paid leave inc. bank holidays, pro rata, and on-going training and support.
