Our client is a large national utility contractor providing engineering and vegetation management services to electricity distributor network operators in several areas of the UK.
They are urgently seeking someone to join their team at their central Suffolk depot to receive on-the-job training in tree surgery in the context of the UK's utility infrastructure.
No previous experience or training is required, you will receive a salary whilst being supported and trained by our client. This role will be ideal for someone leaving school/college or looking for a career change.
You will be working 39 hours per week. Training is usually 2 years, during which the salary is £20,280 FTE p/a or £24,761.88 FTE p/a. A generous 31 days of annual leave inc. bank holidays is also offered.
Upon successful completion of the training, you will become a permanent employee with our client on Performance Related Pay, with all the qualifications you need to start your career as a Utility Arborist on the UK's power networks.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence and own car, as you will be primarily working and learning 'in the field'
- A willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
