A Tree Officer is needed by an Inner East London Council to assist the Arb Services Manager with the management and monitoring of all Arb works carried out by contractors. This will involve monitoring and recording all works issued to contractors to ensure that the treework is carried out to best practice. Other duties will include responding to enquiries regarding TPOs and tree related queries and Insurance claims and generally supporting the delivery of the Boroughs Tree and Woodland strategy.
Candidates should be educated to a Level 3 or above in Arboriculture and ideally have working experience in a similar position within a Local Authority. This is a temporary role which may go permanent for the right candidate after a probationary period.
In return a PAYE rate of upto£21.67 /hour is offered for a 36 hour week.
