- Description
Our client is a NW London local authority. They are looking for a tree officer to join their arboriculture team. The department is responsible for the management and inspection of the Council's tree stock and as such the role encompasses a broad range of duties including: providing professional and expert arboricultural advice, organise tree inspections and surveys, specifying remedial works, instructing contractors and monitoring works, updating the in house tree database and dealing with the public and other stake holder enquiries.
This role will include some hybrid working/working from home.
Suitable candidates should be educated to a minimum of a Level 3 in Arboriculture, be a good communicator and ideally have experience in the supervision and management of contractors.
Details:
- temporary 6 month role, with the possibility of the assignment being extended
- 37hrs/week
- Remuneration £27/hr, c. £52k pa FTE
- requirements: minimum level 3 in arboriculture and Enhanced DBS certificate
- full driving licence and own vehicle to perform site visits (expenses payable)
